Fees & Insurance

Session Fee

My standard fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $75 and for a 90-minute individual therapy session is $120.

If you plan to use insurance, your cost will depend on your specific plan (copay, coinsurance, or deductible), which we’ll review together before starting.

Payment is due at the time of session. I keep a credit card on file through my secure system for ease and consistency.

Insurance

I am currently in the process of becoming in-network with major insurance plans and expect to begin accepting insurance in Spring 2026.

Once credentialed, I plan to be in-network with:

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United / Optum

If you have one of these plans, you’re welcome to reach out and ask about timing.

Out-of-Network Benefits

If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to use your benefits.

Many plans offer out-of-network reimbursement for psychotherapy, which means:

  • You pay my full session fee

  • I provide you with a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt)

  • You submit this to your insurance for partial reimbursement

The amount your insurance reimburses depends on your individual plan.

If you’d like to check your benefits, here are a few helpful questions to ask your insurance company:

  • Does my plan include out-of-network coverage for mental health services?

  • What is my annual out-of-network deductible for mental health? (You must meet this amount before reimbursement begins.)

  • What percentage of out-of-network therapy services is reimbursed (coinsurance: this is where you’ll learn how much of the session cost the insurance company will cover)?

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per year?

Cancellation Policy

I ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee, as this time has been reserved for you.

If you have questions about insurance or payment, I’m happy to talk through options with you before we begin!
