Fees & Insurance
Insurance benefits for therapy can make getting support much more affordable than you might think!
I currently accept Cigna and Aetna. If you have either through your job, you likely only pay your copay per session — typically $20-$40/session!
Think of insurance like this: instead of paying my full session rate ($110), you only pay a small portion called a copay — and your insurance covers the rest. Amazing.
Not sure what your specific copay is? It's usually listed on your insurance card, or you can call the member number on the back of your card and ask: "What is my copay for outpatient mental health services with an in-network provider?" We can go over this in our free consultation call or…
Don't want to deal with that yourself? Text me at 214-704-4764 with your insurance member ID and date of birth and I'll look it up for you and tell you what your session rate would be if we worked together — no obligation!
Don’t Have Cigna or Aetna?
If you don’t have Cigna or Aetna, don’t fret! We can still work together at an affordable rate!
Your insurance probably offers what is called ‘out-of-network reimbursement’ for psychotherapy, which means:
You pay my full session fee ($110) at the time of your session
I provide you with a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt)
You submit this to your insurance for partial reimbursement — depending on your plan, many clients get reimbursed $66-$88, meaning your session could cost as little as $22-$44 out of pocket! The amount your insurance reimburses depends on your individual plan.
If you’d like to check your benefits, here are a few helpful questions to ask your insurance company:
Does my plan include out-of-network coverage for mental health services?
What is my annual out-of-network deductible for mental health? (You must meet this amount before reimbursement begins.)
What percentage of out-of-network therapy services is reimbursed (coinsurance: this is where you’ll learn how much of the session cost the insurance company will cover)?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered per year?

Cancellation Policy
I ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee, as this time has been reserved for you.
If you have questions about insurance or payment, I’m happy to talk through options with you before we begin!
